HAARP Research Facility

HAARP designates the High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program facility near Gakona, Alaska. The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program was undertaken to study the ionosphere.

May 2014– The Air Force plans to shut the facility down. Join scientists in a letter writing campaign; you can ask your congress representative to save this facility.
