About Jason

Jason Dobkowski is the lab manager for Dr. Geoge W. Kling in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Michigan. Dobkowski has joined Kling in researching Arctic ecosystem ecology near Toolik Field Station on Alaska’s North Slope. There, permafrost is thawing and causing the overlying land surface to collapse, forming thermokarsts and introducting long-buried carbon and nutrients back into the Arctic ecosystem.
